The banking system of Ukraine, in particular banks in Kiev region and also banking system of foreign countries. The development of a new and improvement existing methodological bases and practical instruments in the monitoring of banking institutions including positive international experience. The methods: analysis and synthesis, statistic comparison, forming groups, dynamics rows. Discovered methodological and organization basis of the monitoring of Ukrainian banking system. Substantiated necessity the government to carry out supervision function in activity of banking institutions. Made more precise and gave a new explanation of category "the supervision in activity of banking system". Substantiated advisable of securing supervision functions by National bank of Ukraine in activity of banking institutions. Analyzed steps realized by Ukraine, in particular of National bank of Ukraine to eliminate the sanction might initiate by FATF. Gave recommendations how to improve the exercising of the monitoringof Ukrainian banking system on all stages.
