Object of researches - process of interaction of needle working body with ground in structure of the combined instrument for the basic безотвального cultivation of ground. The purpose of work - increase of quality indicators of work of the combined soil-cultivating instruments by a substantiation of rational constructive and kinematic parameters of their needle working bodies. Research receptions. The analysis of working process and design data of needle working body was carried out with application of bases of the agricultural mechanics. Experimental researches were carried out in field conditions with application of a technique of planning to experiment and uses of experimental equipment and a research sample of the developed needle drum.
