Essay

Different forms of congenital lens pathology, after-cataract. The purpose - increase of efficiency of congenital lens pathology surgery. Ophthalmological clinical, histological; slit-lamp, "Compuscan AB Scan", light microscope. The regularity of after-cataract formation in children is ascertained for the first time. The features of lenticular capsules "deposits" structure in "atypical" cataracts are revealed for the first time. Original methods of surgery of subluxated lenses in Marfans' syndrome and congenital posterior lenticonus are elaborated. The optimum surgical tactics of different forms of congenital cataract treatment is worked out. The elaborated methods are introduced at the Filatov Institute, that has allowed to increase the efficiency of diagnostics and treatment of a congenital lens pathology in children. Area of application - medicine, ophthalmology.
