Essay

The thesis is dedicated to work out of new structural corrosion resistant titanium alloys with optimum combination of mechanical and servise properties. The phenomenon of influence of chemical composition and structural factors on mechanisms of fracture, mechanical properties, low-cycle fatigue, electrochemical characteristics and corrosion resistance of low alloyed titanium alloys (Ti-Al-Zr-Mo-V) are studied. The experimental dependences are received and the legitimacies of influence of modification by yttrium on the structure, fracture mechanism, mechanical and servise properties of the cast and deformed titanium alloys are presented. The worked out compositions of titanium alloys have passed industrial approbation and the recommendations of their usage are received
