Gorobets N. 2-Iminocoumarins in reactions with nucleo-philes and electrophiles

Investigation objects: reaction of 2-iminocoumarin derivatives with nucleophiles and electrophiles. Purpose: revelation of synthical potential of 2-iminocoumarin derivatives, collection of systematic data about their reactivity with respect to nucleophiles and electrophiles to obtain new bioactive com-pounds and luminescent dyes. Methods: TLC, elemental analysis, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and IR spec-tro-scopy, mass-spectrometry, X-ray analysis, methods of electronic spectroscopy. New transformations of 2-iminocoumarin derivatives were found, and influence of substituent nature in starting compounds on the direction of the transformations was elucidated. It was shown that intramolecular hydrogen bond affects reactivity of these compounds and their spectral properties as well. New luminaphors for blue-green range of spectrum was synthesized. Degree of application: synthesis of new organic luminophores and bioactive compounds.
