Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to increase of efficiency of the diagnostics of central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC) by using new diagnostical methods - autoscotometry, modified autocampigraphy, color test for investigation of central visual field, metamorphometria, methods of dynamic and scanning ophthalmoscopy. The signs of detachment of retinal pigment epithelium and neuroepithelium are established, i.e. transitory positive scotoma, metamorphopsia on type concave-phenomenon, micropsia, lengthening of the time of fotostress-test more than 4,8 minutes, symptom of local opacification and hyporeflexia of retina, symptoms of intraillumination, arcuate marginal reflex. Algorithm of the early diagnostics CSC was designed. It consists of the following steps: anamnestic, functional, ophthalmoscopical and fluorescent-angiographic. Execution of the first three steps is enough for diagnosing CSC, but the fourth step is required for laser treatment. Proposed classification of CSC includes varieties of forms (acute, chronic, relapse), stages (initial, developed, regressing and result), localization of the pathological process (central, paracentral), location of fluorescent leakage (foveolar, foveal, parafoveal, paramacular), atipical forms.
