Essay

The dissertation shows and describes childrens antenatal and postnatal anamne-sis with GERD and defines the risk factors of the development of GERD. It was proved that there is no spesific changes of gastric mucosa in children with GERD. The character of esophageal mucosal changes might be various. In combinati-on with gastroesophageal prolapsis, these changes are more intensive and evident. Ex-haustation of compensatory defensive mechanism in mucosa clinically appears as hea-rtburn. The dissertation shows that H. pylori plays an indirect role in GERD develop-ment, by causing gastroduodenal pathology. We suggest to add cytomucoprotectors and drugs which might correct the dis-turbanse of vegetative homeostasis to the ordinary therapeutic complex.
