Neyvirt E. Therapy of chronic adenoidites in children with allergic rhinitis

In the work presented they show the results of the examination of clinical peculiarities of chronic adenoidites (CA) in children with allergic diseases of respiratory tract. It has been revealed that the pathology of the pharyngeal tonsil (PT) prevales in 60,6% оf the children under examination. Among the children with PT pathology in 25,2% of cases allergic rhinitis wos met. Adenoiditis clinical picture is not specific and may be masked with the symptoms of allergic rhinitis. Under the pathology of PT the ones stimulate the decrease of the local reactivity which is proved by increase of IgE and IgG levels in the tissues of PT. The clinical estimation of the different therapeutic methods has revealed a high immidiate and remote result in the children when topical glucocorticosteroids are used (Beconase) both as an independent (74,3% of positive results) and in the combination with immunostimulants Timalin (75,4%). The use of corticosteroids in combination with Timalin stimulates the production of immunocompetative cells of different clones and helps to form an immune barrier of the upper respiratory tract mucosa.
