Rynazhevs'kyj B. Formation of the national statehood in Zakarpattya (1918-1939).

In the work the state-creation process in Zakarpattya - from being the autonomous part of Hungary after the First World War to the proclamation of Karpats'ka Ukraina's independence on the 15 of March in 1939 is examined. The legal status of Zakarpattya as the territory of Hungary in 1918-1919, struggle of the Ukrainians for the national self-identification and reunion with Naddnipran'ska Ukraina and Halychyna, creation of the Hutsulska Republic as the state-national formation are highlighted. Social, political and legal status of Zakarpattya as a part of Chekhoslovachchyna is analyzed. Legal basis of the proclamation of independence of Karpats'ka Ukraina is the main object of attention. Circumstances of the formation of Ukrainian statehood in Zakarpattya as an autonomous part of Chekhoslovachchyna and the role of the Seim of Karpats'ka Ukraina in the constituting of Karpats'ka Ukraina's independence.
