Essay

The thesis is devoted to the research of the life and scientifical actyvities of Vasyl Bazylevych - non-famous ukrainian historian of the first half of XX century. Of the wide basis of non-published archive matherials it makes an attempt of analizys of scientific and privat life of V.Bazylevych, the evolution of his scientific interests in the context of problems of social and political history of XX century.In three chapters of the thesis is shown a role of V.Bazylevych both in studies of varyous problems of ukrainian history and his personal actyvity in the political life first in Russian Empire and next in the Soviet Union.
