Kravchenko L. Possibilities of prognosis and peculiarities of the age cataract development in disturbances of desintoxication liver function

The age cataract, prognostication of its development. Prognostication of authenticity of appearance of age cataract and peculiarities of its development in case of chronic gastro-intestinal and hepatobiliary pathology. Methods: biomicroscopy, spectrophotometric determination of GST activity, generalophthalmology; slit lamp, spectrophotometеr. First data, which complement a mechanism of cataractogenezis and are definite factors of risk of appearance of the age cataract are got. Three factors are exposed, in case of the simultaneous influencing of which probability of appearance of the age cataract during two years is multiplied about 70%. First it is set, that persons with the chronic gastro-intestinal and hepatobiliary pathology and disturbances of dezintoxication function of liver are a group of promoted risk of origin of the age cataract. A method of prognostication of authenticity of appearance of the age cataract is developed. Results of work introduce at 4 ophthalmological establishments of Ukraine. The sphere of the use is medicine, ophthalmology.
