Object - legal relations in sphere of traffic; purpose - to define purposeful character of application of administrative compulsion, his influence on consciousness and behaviour of people with the purpose of achievement of precise execution of the established obligations, developments of a society within the framework of the law, maintenance of the law and order and legality, definition of his essence, necessity of application for indissoluble communication with system of actions on a safety of traffic; methods - rather-legal, system-structural, systemic-functional, the documentary analysis; novelty - complex monographic research devoted to problems of application by the state bodies of administrative-compulsory means with the purpose of a safety of traffic; results - dissertation research is the certain contribution for expansion of the theory and practice of application of administrative compulsion in activity of bodies of State Licensing and Inspection Department (SMLID).
