Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the commodity estimation of face brick produced from chalky clay. Possibility of low-grade high-carbonized chalky clay for producing face ceramic brick with improved consumer's properties is proved. The influence of the raw materials and the technology conditions on the consumer's properties is already determined. The aesthetic properties of the face brick were improved by the enlargement of its color range, at the expense of the inner and external painting and engobes. The quality level estimation of new face brick was held. And it showed up that the examined brick produced from chalky clay satisfies the standard's of documentary norms. Besides its quality is not worse than of the best ceramic products on the market. Main results of this work have been applied in industry and proved by considerable social-economic effect.
