Essay

The results of the complex investigations of large-scale solar and interplanetary magnetic fields variations are set out in the thesis. For analyses the observations of the solar mean magnetic field (SMMF), 1967-2003; solar background magnetic field (SBMF), 1904-2000; interplanetary magnetic field (IMF), 1947-2000, were used. The common and different behaviors of the dynamics of SBMF, SMMF and IMF were revealed. The common characteristics of all large-scale magnetic field are the cyclicity of the rotation and the dependence of different characteristics on the cycle parity. But the cyclicity of the rotation and the long-term variations of investigated magnetic fields have noticeable differences. The evolution of the periods of the quasi-rigid rotation of SBMF, SMMF and IMF is not identical too. The changing of the rotation regime and the sector structure character of SBMF was occurred in the middle of century XX. The part of the small-scale structures increased. The rotation rate of sector structures increases with decreasing of their sizes. Characteristics of IMP during cycles 18-19 and 20-22 point to the change of the rotation rate of IMP in the middle of century XX. It was drawn that SMMF effects not only SBMF but strong local magnetic fields as well. SBMF is independent phenomenon of solar magnetism.
