Essay

The object of investigation: views of Ukrainian economists of the 2nd half of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries concerning the state regulation of the economy. Goal: the investigation is aimed at studying the factors of formation end the evolution of the above views. Methods: those of analyses, synthesis, both logical and historical. The novelty of the investigation lies in the substantiation of the effects of the Ukrainian economists' views on the formation of Ukraine's market economy and the theory of economic policy. Results: the author singles out the factors of forming Ukrainian economists' views on the state regulation of market economy and systematizes the above views in accordance with various directions. The results obtained have been introduced into educational process, research as well as into enacting a governmental decree. Sphere of application: the History of Economic Studies, Economic Theory, state regulation of the economy.
