Kostyuchenko O. Treatment of recidivous polypous rhinosynusitis

Dissertation is dedicated to substantiation and elaboration of new technology of treatment of patients with recidivous polypous rhinosynusitis with application of antiіnflammational immunostimulating action of drug Erbisol, based on investigation of pathogenic chains of this disease and possibility of positive results' prognosis. Corresponding response of mucous membraine of nasal cavity on local action of Erbisol are investigated, including peculiarities of its action on polypous tissue in vitro. Stimulative action of drug on processes of secretional immunoglobulins synthesis by plasmocyte's type cells and increase in amount of functionally active macrophages, and intensification of protective functions of epithelium ciliated without pathologic changes in structures of investigated objects. Clinical, immunological, cytochemical and biophysical methods prove high effectiveness of complex (local and intramuscular) application of Erbisol in treatment of patients with polypous rhinosinusitis. Positive results of clinical and immunological, cytochemical and biochemical tests layed into basis for construction of technology of antirecidival treatment of patients with mentioned above pathology, which consists of local endonasal in period before operation and intramuscular administration of drug in period after operation for stabilization of clinical effect and prolongation of remission period.
