The Dissertation is devoted to the theoretical and practical problems of the legal regulations of a status of a person who possesses special knowledge in Ukrainian Criminal Justice and his legal relations with a detective and an investigator. The definition and classification of such persons in Criminal Justice are developed. The dissertation contains conclusion according to which a person who possesses special knowledge plays role of an assistant for a detective and/or investigator, prosecutor, judge in estimating circumstances of a case.
