Essay

The object - the system CaO-BaO-SiO2; the aims - elaboration and obtaining the heat resistant barium-containing cements on the base of the CaO-BaO-SiO2 system compositions for creation of concretes with a high degree of protection from gamma-radiations at simultaneous influence of hifg temperatures and an aggressive environment; the methods are advanced methodsof research of multi-conponent systems as well as a number of physical and chemical analysis methods; theoretical and practical results - the subsoliduse structure of CaO-BaO-SiO2 system is determined; the optimum area for obtaining barium-containing cements is determined. The resource- and energy-saving technology obtaining of calcium-barium-cilicate cements is developed, its physical and mechanical and technical properties are studied. The protective concretes with high physical and mechanical and technical properties on the basis of synthesized cements are developed; novelty - the initial thermodynamic constants of ternary compounds are calculated; the subsolidus structure of the system are determined, a geometrical and topological characteristics of the CaO-Bao-SiO2 system phases is given; the ternary compounds in the system are studied; the possibillity of obtaining of protective calcium-barium-silicate cements on the base of system compositions are theoretical and experimental proved; trials - the protective constructive concrete element against ionized radiation for the laboratory electrons accelerator; the field is protective containers, constructions and building for atomic power engineering.
