Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the improvement of diagnosis of reactive arthritis in children based on the study of clinical, diacritical and immunologic peculiarities of its course and working out prognostic criteria of the course of the disease. The leading role of nasopharyngeal, chlamydial and yersinial infections in etiology of the disease was determined. The peculiarities of clinical manifestations, course and outcomes of ReA depending on etiologic factor were revealed. Clinical, laboratory signs characteristic of different variants of ReA course were defined. The relation between changes of immune homeostasis the types of ReA course and trigger infection agents was shown. Most important signs for differential diagnosis of ReA course lingering and articular form of YRA were determined. For the first time prognostic criteria of ReA course were determined and patented.
