Object of research - neogen sand-clay strata in the External area of the Pre-Carpathion Flexure; the purpose of research -revealing and investigation of omitted and untested perspective gas fields in the neogen sand-clay strata in the External area of the Pre-Carpathion Flexure in the past years; research receptions -spatial content of psammite fractions in the strata and thin-layers in the area in the vertical section, to define their saturation on the basis of the data factor of clay swelling in chips; novelty entered -the reasons of productive fields omitted were revealed and measures for their prevention were worked out; the degree of introduction - for the first time were produced the maps of perspective psammitic sand-clay stratum and were indicated perspective in gas objects on the basis of the data of factor clay swelling in chips; sphere (area) of use - prospecting and oil-extraction enterprises.
