Jurchishin V. The problems of the public and private prosecution in the courts of Ukraine.

The present thesis is dedicated to the research of the problems of the public and private prosecution in the criminal process of Ukraine. The essence of the notion and significance of the prosecution, the system of its different forms and their correlation has been revealed. The history of the appearing and evolution of the prosecution has been considered too. The dynamics of the formation of public and private prosecution and the importance of it in the criminal process of Ukraine have been shown. All subjects who are entitled to prosecute in a court have been mentioned. Their process status has been analyzed. Close attention of the author has been focused on the preparation of the public prosecutor for debates. The essence, the significance and the consequences of the changing and denying prosecution by a public prosecutor have been revealed. In order to improve the public and private prosecution several propositions of improvement to the Ukrainian legislation in force have been suggested.
