Essay

The dissertation is devoted to research of the problem of woman in religions of Abraham tradition: Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. It is complete religious studies investigation of essence, purpose and sense of existence of woman in religions in a context of historical changes and tendencies of the modernity. It is developed and proved the concept according to which the attitude to the woman till now remains patriarchal though attempts observe to find the new argument on the given problem in connection with increase of her role in a society, attraction of women to religious activity. Theologians of all religions of Abraham tradition fix the deterioration of position of woman with intensification of emancipating processes in XX century. She tests double loading: she is not released from homework and simultaneously works outside a house. It has provoked the crisis of family as institute, moral degradation of a society. Religions are interested in strengthening of family as guarantor of existence of belief, its broadcasting on the future generations.
