Zuban Y. Models and algorithms for data compression for information systems

The object of research is сompression tools for information tasks in automation control systems. The aim is to increase of transfer speed given in subsystems of automation control systems and reduction of memory capacity for their storage. The methods of the information theory, theory of coding, theory of probabilities, methodology of analytical and imitating modelling are used. The relative address model for the binary information source description is offered. Has received the further development model of decomposition of a source of information files. The method of local shifts for data compression is developed. The algorithms for information sources coding developed and investigated, based on a method of local shifts, which are based on combinatorial decomposition of files on classes of equivalence, structure of the programs and devices for compression. The received results are used in the project of the automation system for control and calculation of electric energy which is designed by science-production enterprise "Preobrazovatel" (Sumy). The sphere of results application is information subsystems of automation control systems.
