Essay

The purpose of this thesis paper is scientific grounding, experimental researches and improvements of technology smelting of high-manganese steel of 110G13L in arc furnace by using more effective mode of reducing by an aluminium, adjusting the chemical composition of the steel and upgrading quality of the metal, with the simultaneous economy of raw material. For achievement of this purpose in work were set such tasks: to generalise and analyse the modern state of smelting technology of the high-manganese steel and the quality level of the cross-pieces of the railway pointer taking into account the requirements GOST 7370-98; to execute the complex analysis of physical and chemical processes of dephosphoring, carbon oxidization and reducing steel by a carbon, manganese, silicon and aluminium; to learn experimentally morphology of the non-metal including in castings of 110G13L steel which are reduced by different amount of aluminium; to ground scientifically the choice of rational combination of chemicalcomposition maintenance of the steel, which in GOST 7370 - 98 has wide values of the base elements (C, Mn, Si) and admixture elements (P, S); to explore operating technology and perfect it with the purpose of receipt castings for cross-pieces of the railway pointer of higher quality groups and resourcesavings.
