Essay

Allelopathic properties of Echinacea species (E. purpurea, E. pallida, E. angustifolia) has been studed. It was found that allelopathic activity of species results from phenolcarbonic acids, flavonoids and amino acids. Species-specificity and effect selective action of allelopathily active compounds has been showed. The increase in soil biological activity due to effects of allelopathily active compounds from secrets and remains mineralization products of aforesaid species has been found.
