The dissertation deals with a study of the forming factors of peptic ulcer in children and the peculiarities of the clinical course with an elaboration of a complex of clinical - diagnostic criteria of forming and treatment methods. The findings of the trials document the basic types of familial burden in respect to peptic ulcer and their dependence on sex, dependence of ulcer localization on the age of probands, the peculiarities of the clinical course in children with different types of familial burden in the pedigree. The genetic component of peptic ulcer in children has been established according to monogenic sings of inherited polymorphism risk factors of predisposition and resistance to the development of disease have been determined. An algorithm of complex examination of prognostic risks and a constellation table for a points assessment of the risk of disease progression has been proposed. The expediency of a differentiated multimodality approach to the treatment of peptic ulcer in children hasbeen substantiated and the clinical efficacy of using microwave resonance therapy and Eglonil against a background of traditional antiulcerous therapy has been proved.
