Essay

Questions of diagnostic and treatment efficacy increasing of esophageal foreign body patients were investigated. The results of 321 patients with the esophageal foreign body which were treated for the period of 1999 -2002 were analyzed. The diagnostic algorithm for the patients with the suspected foreign body of piriform fossae and esophageus and special X-ray investigation were presented. The new method of flexible endoscopy for the protection of instrumental complications in patients with vertebral spondilosis vegetations on the proximal esophagus level was developed due to phases of breathing and swallowing. The efficacy of dynamic ultrasonic investigation of proximal esophagus in diagnostics of esophageal foreign body inflammatory complications was studied.
