The object is an investment activity of industrial enterprises; the aim is to extend the methodical-theoretic basis and practical science recommendations on investment activity activation, methods are logical synthesizing, system and complex approaches, economic mathematical simulation, statistic analysis, expert evaluation, portfolio theory; the new approach is in developing of methodical recommendations for a complex evaluation of an investment potential and analysis of efficiency of its use; the main results include methods of activation of investment activity; the thesis has found practical application in mechanical engineering; the field is mechanical engineering.
