Essay

The dissertation deals with experimental and theoretical research of effects of external factors (buffer gas, temperature, optical radiation, chemically inert impurities) on evaporation rate of liquid droplets. On the basis of experimental data an interpolation formula has been obtained on the basis of this result. It is in good agreement with experimental data on evaporation rate of water droplets in isothermal regime within the whole range of environment pressure investigated. The evaporation rate of irradiated droplets of polar liquids has been established to be higher than that of droplets in dark regime. Such an increase in evaporation rate cannot be explained by heating of irradiated droplets as a result of irradiation. Presence of small concentration of chemically inert impurities of freon -30 (СН2СІ2), freon-113 (С2F3СІ3) and nonane (С9Н20) has been established to effect evaporation rate of water and ice droplets.
