Essay

Thesis are dedicated to in vitro study of antifungal properties of antidermatological drug cerbiden on the wide spectrum of conditionally pathogenic micromycets from different taxa. A comparatively wide spectrum of cerbiden antifungal activity. Cerbiden is active both against dermatophytes and Candida spp., some bazidiomycetes yeasts, mucorales fungi. Activity of cerbiden against conditionally pathogenic fungi is determined by antibiotic compounds - aromatic carbohydrate phenylheptatryin and sesquiterpene phenol cernuol. Cerbiden and phenylheptatryin have an influence on morphology of mucorales fungi, inhibit forming of spores and growth of colonies. Promotion of cerbiden and phenylheptatryin in their subfungictatistic concentration to accumulate of ergosterin in Candida albicans cells has been determined. Cerbiden and phenylheptatryin increase activity of antimicotic fluconasol against C. albicans. Resistance of C. albicans in vitro to cerbiden and phenylheptatryin form slowly and lesser degree.
