The thesis deals with the results of the efficiency investigations concerning four methods of the evaluation and selection of the cows the principal measures and indices of the body structure, the dairy efficiency, the udder morphological and functional features the managerial and useful features and the body structure peculiarites concerning the cows with the different exteriary constitutional types within the genotype limits lines and progeny of the separate size bulls. The selection of the animals of the Ukrainian black - dappled vows of the dairy stock should be carried out according to the managerial and useful features using m. O. Shalimov's methods.
