Islyamova G. Combined treatment for cervical cancer with uses neoadjuvant concomitant chemoradiotherapy

Object of investigation: patient with cervical cancer T 2аN0M0 and pT2aN1M0 stages during the combined treatment. Target - to increase the effectiveness of therapy patients with cervical cancer by adding of concomitant neoadjuvant chemo radio therapy. Methods: clinical, rengenological, ultrasound, endoscopic, laboratory investigations, photo and electronic microscopy, indirect immunofermentative analysis, statistic. Theoretical and practical results: the developed methodic gives a high effectiveness in treatment of cervical cancer. What is new: for the first time the methodic of combined treatment of patients with locally advanced cervical cancer using carboplatine and gemcitabine was developed and tested; the degree of side-effects was studied, for the first time the morphological analysis of conges in tumor tissue in different conditions using various ways of concomitant neoadjuvant chemo radio therapy and independent preoperative therapy was carried out. This investigation for the first time allowedestimating the character and intensity degree of immune status changes, which occur under the influence of concomitant neoadjuvant chemo radio therapy using carboplatine and gemcitabine in patients with cervical cancer. This method was applied in practical work of Kharkov and Crimean regional clinical oncology department. Branch - medicine ( oncology).
