The object of the research is nonverbal components of communicative situation of dominance, verbalized in the English language discourse in the process of representation of dialogical interaction of communicators. The aim of the research is a description of functional and pragmatic peculiarities of dominant individuals' nonverbal communicative components as well as a description of their nominative peculiarities by means of modern English language. The methods of the research are methods of correlational, hypothetical-deductive, contextual-situational, systemic-functional, lexical and stylistic analyses. Theoretical results and novelty: for the first time a complex analysis of functional and pragmatic interaction of nonverbal and verbal components of the situation of communicative dominance is performed, notions of qualitative and quantitative complementation of nonverbal and verbal communicative components are introduced, peculiarities of dominant individuals' prosodic, kinesic and proxemic communicative components in the English language discourse are analyzed, dependence of nonverbal components' usage on communicator's gender is established. Practical results: the usage in lecture courses in lexicology, stylistics, in special courses in theory of discourse, nonverbal communication theory, pragma-, psycho and sociolinguistics. The sphere of application: pragmalinguistics, theory of discourse and nonverbal communication.
