Essay

The thesis is dedicated to a complex research of foreign policy of Bulgaria in 1919-1923, to its principal priorities and advantages. Characteristic traits of foreign policy of the coalition government of A.Stambolijsky and basic trends of a new course of foreign policy of the single-Party government of Bulgarian agricultural people’s union have been analysed. Characteristic traits of the government of agricultural union, that have been bound up with normalization of relations with states-conquerors, and process of admission of Bulgaria to the League of Nations have been elucidated. The essence of Bulgarian new foreign policy with respect to European and world states on the basis of solid grounds and sources, especially to the states conquerors, has been examined. The author of the thesis has come to a conclusion that foreign policy of Bulgaria after the First World War created favourable opportunities for defense of national rights and interests, raised international and foreign authority of the government of BAPU. Another conquered states were not be able to ensure that to theirselves.
