Sereda O. An Employer as a Subject of the Labour Law.

The thesis investigates the legal status of an employer as a subject of labour law and contributes to improving the legal regulation of labour relations, which involve an employer. The investigated notions are "an employer", the rights, the duties and the responsibility of a certain subject of the labour law. The analyzed topics include the legal status of the head of an organization, certain features of concluding and braking up a labour agreement, bringing to material and disciplinary prosecution, the legal status of an arbitral authority as a specific subject of the labour law. The rights, the duties, the responsibilities of an employer at each stage of the collective agreement regulation are defined as well as the statutory components of employers' organizations. The comprehensive suggestions are made on improving the existing legislation, which regulates the relations involving an employer. The results of the work have found their way into the drafts of the additions to the Labour Law Code and other regulatory acts of Ukraine.
