Essay

The thesis is dedicated to investigation of problems of social philosophy in the works by Jacques Maritain. The particularities of ideas of the French catholic philosopher, his understanding of social progress as religious growth and the society itself - as superpersonality, divided into Christians and non-Christians. Special attention is given to the analytical investigation of the personality concept of a thomist's integral humanism. The accent is made on its civic character as a concept of the new time order - the new Christianity.
