The results of study of eclipsing binary systems at the stage of mass exchange or сlose in evolution to them, revealation of differences for stars at close evolution stages are presented in the manuscript. The original photometric and polarimetric observations, obtained by the author, have been used. Using photographic materials, 7 eclipsing systems have been studied. Photometric elements for all these stars have been determined. During 2001-2003 years, the photopolarimetric observations of 3 eclipsing binary systems - RY Per, VW Cyg, V393 Cyg ere carried out. The analysis of UBVRI polarimetric observation of eclipsing binary system RY Per has been done allowing the decomposition of observed polarization into interstellar and intrinsic components. The orbital plane inclination of the binary system to the Galactic plane was determined. For eclipsing binary VW Cyg, an analysis of the polarimetry allowed to make the conclusion that mean values of polarization are different at phases corresponding to themain minimum and out-of-eclipse parts. The intrinsic and interstellar polarization components have been separated. The orbital plane inclination of the binary system to the Galactic plane was determined. UBVRI light curves have been solved. A good agreement of the theoretical light curves with the observations have been reached. A re-classification of VW Cyg from detached systems to semi-detached has been made. For the system V393 Cyg, the analysis of polarimetric observations had shown that in this system an optically thin gas is absent.
