Dissertation is devoted to the study of basic tactics aimed at countering obstruction of the investigation of crimes committed by organized criminal groups. The author has comprehensively analyzed various forms of obstructing the investigation of crimes (concealing crimes, corruption schemes of obstruction, the use of mass media, false evidence, false testimony, threatening and intimidation) and established peculiarities inherent to the crimes committed by organized criminal groups. The author has developed the most important tactical guidelines that allow to overcome obstruction of the investigation on behalf of organized criminal groups: the tactics of ensuring secrecy of the investigation, the tactics of preventing tactical mistakes, the tactics of spotting false testimonies, the7 tactics of ensuring safety and security of criminal procedure agents..
