3. Dissertation is devoted to the exposure of legitimating rece- ption of durable briquettes and granules made of slimes with the purpose of their utilization in agglomeration-blast-furnace production with the use of untraditional technologies. Object of investigation. Processes of combining of mixtures, pressing, consolidating, crushing and using of briquettes made of subtly materials. Subject of investigation. Mechanical and metallurgical prope- ties of the slimes briquettes of a different composition, got in different terms, and their influence on the indexes of agglome- ration-blast-furnace processes. Methods of investigation. Theoretical methods, including computation-analytical, mathematical statistics, mathematical designing. Experimental methods of the device measuring of dynamics of mass, sizes, temperatures, determinations of du- rability on throwing down and squashing, milding and recove- ring the laboratory equipment and measuring devices. The theoretical bases of control of mechanical durability of morseling materials got further development. For the control of durability of briquettes the index of work of shock destruc- tion is offered; it is found out its communication with a drum test and durability on squashing. Theoretical positions of briquetting of materials due to resear- ches of influencing of complex of factors on mechanical dura- bility of briquettes are improved, including it is first revealed and influencing of 4 factors is explored; classification of fac- tors of durability is offered; principles of receipt of durable briquettes are developed. The mathematical model of type "Contents - properties", due to which dependences of durability of briquettes on composi- tions of charge, containing the oxides of iron, calcium and alu- minium, are found, is developed, and diagrams allowing to get the briquettes of the set durability are built. Composition and method of reception of briquetted iron-flux, suitable for me- chanical durability to the usage in metallurgical production, is developed. Influence of additions in agglomeration mix granular slime on productivity of agglomeration statute and durability of agglo- merate. New industrial methods of getting of granules are de- veloped. Possibility of increasing of productivity of agglome- ration statute and durability of agglomerate at the unlimited in- creasing expense of slime in an agglomeration charge due to their preliminary briquetting with the subsequent crushing to for -8 mm is experimentally proved first. The exploited methods are approved in the conditions of com- bine "Azovstal" and set to introduction of the on the combi- nes "Ilyich Iron and steel works" and "Azovstal". The got re- sults allow to organize utilization of most slims, than conside- rable ecological and economic effect is achieved. The develo- ped methods can be used on the metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine.
