Object of research. The insurance market of Ukraine. Purpose of research. The purpose is justify scientifically theoretic and methodological bases and practical recommendations how to improve and increase efficiency of Ukraine insurance market. Methods of research. The methods are theoretic analytical, empirical and actual methods of knowledge: analysis and synthesis, logical and comparative analysis, imitative and automatic method of modeling. Theoretical and practical results. The formulated and well – founded scientific opinion, conclusions and offers deepen the theoretical bases, and also have practical significance in realization of the tasks concerned with increasing of efficiency of the insurance processes and development of Ukraine insurance market. Innovation of the research. The following most weighty results of the research, determine the contribution to the development of the problem and characterize scientific innovation of the research: on the basis of the offered structural and logical schemes of insurance processes, reinsurance and retrocessions the additional of reinsurance are determined; for the first time using of imitative method of modeling of insurance is offered with the purpose forecasting; determination of stages of the development of Ukraine insurance market is improved; methods of computation of insurance are perfected on the basis of which the insurant should transmit risk into reinsurance base himself on the offered algorithm of the computation; definition of the concept "insurance risk" has received the further development. Degree of application. The results of the research are introduced into the practical activity of the insurance company ASK "CONSUL" (information № 183/05 from 28.05.04), Holosiyvskiy branch of NASK "Oranta" (information № 207 from 01.06.04), in the educational process of National Academy of State Tax of Ukraine (information № 1719/01-12 from 03.06.2004).
