Essay

The thesis is dedicated to a reconstruction of appearance an further development’s process of the Crimean Khanate as a separate state formation in the 15th century. On the basis of systematization and analysis of narrative and numismatic sources a complex research on various aspects of the political history of the Crimean Khanate during the 15th century was realized in this work. Reasons of centrifugal tendencyies’ strengthening in the Golden Horde of the 15th century that had led to the political transformations (from the Crimean Ulus to an independent Khanate) were in focus of the work as well as a role of the political factors in the process of a separate state formation’s development was analyzed. Stages of appearance and development of the Crimean Khanate as a separate dynastic formation in the Crimea were defined and division into period of the Crimean Khanate’s history early stage is proposed. In a result of analysis of the Crimean and of not local origin (Genoese, of Rus’, Lithuanian, Polish, Turkish) the dates of the Crimean Khanes’ reign was defined more exactly as well as chronology of the events’ development in the Crimea and at the Golden Horde’s territory during the 15th century that accompanied the process of the appearance and the early period; a role of the political elite was analyzed and a role and a place of the Crimean Khanate in the system of international relations in Eastern Europe during the 15th century also was analyzed.
