The thesis discusses a comparative and typological analysis of the neoromanticism of Yosano Akiko, Lesya Ukrainka, and Willa Cather. Highlighted are feministic aspects of their creative work - the dichotomy "corporality - existentiality", phytosymbolism, the musicality of tropes, structures and themes. Shown are the specific characteristics of their works: the mythological and biographical chronotopos of Willa Cather, the historical and universal time and space of Lesya Ukrainka, and the syncretic time and space of Yosano Akiko. To carry out the aforementioneol explorations the modern theory of Comparative Studies was applied, as well as Feminist and Gender criticism, Time and spase concepts, Neoromantic Theory. To be more precise, the author relied in her inverstigation on ideas, propounded in the works by V.Zhyrmunsky, N.Conrad, M.Laslo-Chutsuk, D.Nalyvaiko, S.Pavlychcko, S.Prigodi, T.Gundorova, N.Zborovska, V.Ageiva, R.Clements, C.Guillan, E.Showalter, H.Sixou, A.Bierce, A.Santayana. Various methodswere used in the comparative analysis of literary texts: comparative and typological, feminist, poetological, archetypal.
