Essay

The scientific problem solution is given in the thesis - interface of object-oriented geoinformation system to a relational database with the object-relational adapter. The solution of the given problem consists in application of a new method of the object-relational adapter, which is based on objective-relational algebra, which extended by the spatial operations. Created technology allows to reduce time for development of geoinformation systems, unify technologies of interface, increase query speed. All these results have an important scientific and practical value in the field of geoinformation technologies and in management of main gas lines. On the basis of the developed methods and models the program system of display and editing of the spatial data has been created.
