The thesis is concerned with the comprehensive study of theoretical and practical issues of trade unions’ activities in representing and protecting the rights and interests of employees. Special emphasis is placed on solving the problems of the legal status of trade unions as subjects of law. The thesis has analysed not merely respective norms of labor legislation, but has made conclusions concerning their application. It has determined stages and studied peculiarities of labor legislation concerning trade unions.
