Essay

Analysis of work conditions and fracture character of city roads asphalt pavements is performed. Cracks propagation intensity straight dependence on the time of the load is determined. Selection of boundary state type and condition of sufficient strength for crack resistance of city roads pavements is substantiated. Boundary number of load application to asphalt pavement of non-rigid construction of road and calculation intensity of traffic with traffic conditions consideration are determined. Concept of "damaged asphalt structure rehabilitation measure" is introduced and on its base analytical dependence for summary measure of pavement damage accumulation is precised. Design characteristics and durability indexes of various asphalt are experimentally determined for crack resistance estimation for city roads' pavements. Results of experimental tests of theoretical investigations illustrate the fact that both experimental tests and theoretical investigations conform to each other. The dissertation investigations results found practical application in design and construction of asphalt pavement in city conditions.
