Essay

The dissertation is devoted to investigation of theoretical and practical aspects of management and supporting of intraday liquidity in the interbank funds transfer systems. The mechanisms of provision of intraday liquidity in the TARGET are analyzed and found to play the crucial role in the effective functioning of payment systems in the EU. On studying West European experience, recommendations to improve interbank settlements and intraday liquidity provision patterns in Ukraine are made.
