Essay

This dissertation is dedicated to complex investigation of functioning of traditional image of Roksolana and different plots connected with it in the world literature. As traditional structure of plot and image, the latter has such differential features in the world literature: identification, conscious perception by the recepient as a persistent of art-semantic complex; a nomination, orientation at image perception as a content-formal structure. Graduality of traditioanalization proves the genetic nature of the plot of Roksolana. Although the serious transformation within the national literary process the traditional image gains sincretic features, where there are two interrelated sides to the phenomenon: that of contact and of typology.
