The objective of researches was learning of correlative variability between wool grease indexes and ontogenetical legitimacies of wool efficiency creation of Taurian Merino depending on age, sex , taking into account intensity of selection.. The numerical metrics of complex assessment of wool efficiency of sheep are offered depending on colours and common parameters of a wool grease. Is determed, that the investigated tags of efficiency changing under selection effect influence and depending on animals sex and age . The link between colour of wool grease and wool efficiency , characteristics of wool fat and sweat, protective properties of a fleece is detected. The best in herd are the rams - sires with white colour of a wool grease, by which highest is applied of selection intensity (1 %) and which other sexual and age groups on unwashed wool clip in 1,9 times, of a pure wool clip in 2 times prevailed, had smaller metrics of a content of mineral impurities (1,2 times) . The distribution of animals with white and light colour of a wool grease has supplied a production gain of a pure wool on 1600 kg. The recearch materials are usen in the "Chervoniy chaban " when selection work of the new taurian of Merino.
