Essay

Object – electromagnetic wave scattering on unclosed biconical structure and structure parameters effect on basic electromagnetic characteristics investigation; goal –development of method, that is based on applying the Kontorovich-Lebedev integral transform and the semi-inversion method for investigating electromagnetic wave scattering on unclosed biconical structures, and analysis of electromagnetic characteristics; methods - Kontorovich-Lebedev integral transform, the semi-inversion method, numerical methods; results – the numerical-analytical method for solving boundary problems with conical geometry is developed and approved; obtained characteristics allow to understand the phenomena of waves scattering on unclosed conical structures; novelty – the method, that is based on applying the Kontorovich-Lebedev integral transform and the semi-inversion method was developed for investigating the electromagnetic wave scattering on 3D unclosed biconical structures, which considered for the first time. Asa result of method modification the common functional equations are obtained; applications – the obtained results could be used for designing and development the wideband antennas and antenna arrays; for modeling and interpretation physical processes of interaction the electromagnetic waves and unclosed conical surfaces; for real antennas and reflectors characteristics calculation, and other; branches – diffraction theory, electrodynamics, antenna technique, computational electrodynamics
