Essay

Complexation of copper (II) on the surface of silika gels activated simultaneously with N-, S- containing ligands. The thesis is devoted to the experimental investigation of copper(II), cobalt (II) and nickel (II) adsorption on the surface of biligand chemically modified silica gels containing aminopropyl (ethylendiamine) and mercaptopropyl groups in various molar ratios. The composition of adsorption complexes has been established using methods of EPR, electron and luminescence spectroscopies. Cu(II) ions are coordinated with sulfur-containing ligands or are located in [NO]but not in [NS] surrounding on the surface of biligand amino- and mercaptopropyl chemically modified silica gels. It may be caused by various location of amino- and mercaptopropyl groups on the silica gel surface, namely gorisontal to the silica gel surface placing for aminopropyl groups, and vertical placing - for mercaptopropyl groups.
